First a small about me;
I’m 17 years old; 110 pounds and about 5′6" in height. I may be having an insecure moment but I feel that people find me strange in some way. I’ve never had a date, and I’m on the shy side, but it’s never prevented me from having great conversations with women. I find myself respectful, I stay far away from drugs and alcohol. I try my best to be polite when other people are around, and open doors for complete strangers. (Especially if they’re good looking
)
I have an extremely weird taste in music, I won’t generally listen to anything from America, and love Europop and European Rock. I keep myself well-groomed and will make sure I look my best before stepping outside. I have a love for clothes and generally go out in an expensive Armani shirt and tie, some nice jeans and leather military style Bally riding boots. (My parents together make around 0,000 a year, so I am a little bit on the upper class side, but I don’t see myself as snobby, I just don’t mind paying for more expensive things.) I have a cheeky-esque sense of humor, mostly throwing subtle jokes into the relevant conversation, which usually works. Women seem to like the way I look, I get compliments from women about it quite often and there’s been instances where I’ve had boyfriends angry at me because their girlfriend tried to get me to tell them how to dress. (Awkward??? I didn’t even know either of them.)
Now my problem:
I haven’t really been able to connect to women, I’m slightly shy and don’t go super out of my way to talk to women. I’ve never really had a conversation with a women I didn’t know before other than "Wow! I love your <Insert article of clothing here>". I’ve tried to ask women out, especially the ones that compliment me but they always turn me down, lol.
I even had a cute girl flirt with me and take my number once thinking that I’d score a date, but she only called me for clothing advice, particularly how to dress her damn boyfriend who always goes out in a hoodie and sweatpants. >:( I don’t want to dress your damn boyfriends!
Actually, after typing this, DO THEY THINK I’M GAY? :O? I’M NOT GAY!
@ally: You do realize its them complimenting me, and not the other way around, right? I would never go up to a girl and be stupid enough to just talk about what they’re wearing. I usually don’t approach girls first. As for being small, I can’t really help that, and the money thing, I understand that people were hit by the recession. When the economy was booming my family was actually very poor. So it just seems slightly fair to me… As for brand names, I don’t ALWAYS wear brand names, but since I can afford to I don’t see what’s wrong with it…

@Other People:
You people are misreading! I have never ever talked to any girl about what they were wearing! I simply dress myself! About the clothes, it’s them coming up to -ME- and asking -ME- about my clothes. I’m not homosexual in any way shape or form D:

@Summer Lotus: I have a super fast metabolism, hopefully I’ll grow out of it. I eat just as much as anyone else if not more. I’m not skipping meals or anything and I’m perfectly healthy despite being really really skinny.

@ally (again)
Sorry but I also forgot to mention that I don’t reject -ALL- American music, I love to listen to bands like Bon Jovi and a bunch of other bands, I just said that I preferred European music more. Sorry if that came off really rude.

@Jen: I’ve never ever told a girl how she should dress or how she looks. As for the tank top thing, there’s absolutely no way. I’m way too skinny. Also, I think my attire is very relaxed. There’s no way I could go to my parent’s office dressed the way I am. (I’m the son of two attorneys). So I’d say I’m already in a formal-casual esque wardrobe.

@haleybaby: Thanks, but I don’t really think that I’m dressing that expensively. My attire usually consists of a nice collared shirt, a tie, and some jeans and leather boots. All in all, I probably am spending only a little bit more than your shopping trips to the mall. It’s not like I run around in a suit or anything. I just love wearing ties and nice shirts. ![]()
